One
team had a lot of fun with this
year's FRC scoring element. |

On
Saturday, October 13, 2012, TechBrick's FRC and
FTC teams attended the Duel on the Delaware, at
Salem Community College in NJ and sponsored
by
MOE265. DOTD is an annual off-season
scrimmage for FRC and learning session for FTC
teams, many who are seeing the full size field
for the first time.
Our FRC team took its 2012 robot out for its
last run for 2012 before beginning a full
rebuild for the upcoming season. This year's
members are stepping up and mastering tasks
handled by members who have moved on to college.
All our work for the past 12 months culminated
in our cleanest run. The robot performed well in
all rounds with no glitches and just one broken
chain. We also made our first autonomous goal!
Our FTC 7 team, now largely rookies, had a
great time on their first team event. They
enjoyed the help of many of the experts in
attendance including our good friend, Dave
Spangler of
Under the Son Robotics. They were able to
complete their test robot and get it programmed
and operational. They are now energized and
excited about tackling a fully featured robot
for this year's challenge.

the photos of FTC and FRC below.
